The most dangerous thing one can do as a photographer is to allow hidden insecurities and fears to prevent us moving forward. Most photographers that I have interacted with will shy away from very large family sessions. Like the ones with lots and lots of people of all ages. They almost resemble a small wedding in that they invariably have more chiefs than indians, time is of the essence and things rarely run according to plan. pst….Main reason I am NOT a wedding photographer!
I’m a story teller, or at least when people ask me what I do, that’s what I say. Yep, they do kinda look at me funny but that’s ok. Each photo session comes with it’s own story. The people in it are what it is really all about.
Meet the Mannings. This was actually a referral from the sweet and madly talented, Erin Carlyle. I was so excited that she would trust me with a client- They were all very sweet and a ton of fun to work with!
